2023 Bullsbrook Christmas Lights Competition

Bullsbrook was mesmerized by the magical display of festive lights in the picturesque town of Bullsbrook. The highly anticipated Christmas Lights Competition, proudly sponsored by Hancock Prospecting and Okeland Communities, was back for its third year to illuminate the streets with holiday cheer. Houses transform into dazzling works of art, adorned with a vibrant array of colors and festive decorations. The festive spirit was contagious, with families and friends strolling through the neighborhoods, captivated by the creativity and dedication showcased in each illuminated masterpiece.

The Christmas Lights Competition is all about spreading joy and creating cherished memories during the festive season with the winning displays are selected based on factors such as creativity, thematic execution, and overall visual impact.

Awarded on Saturday 16th December with participants joining a reprsentative from Hancock Prospecting at the Kingsford Sales Office to hear the winning announcements.This year, the Hendry Family emerged as the deserving winners, earning themselves a family trip to Singapore in December to witness the Orchard Street Christmas Lights festival. Additionally, the Smith and Fleming families were awarded second prizes, with each receiving a trip for two to Hancock Prospecting’s National Days’ events in November. But the festivities didn't end there! A cash prize of $10,000 awaited the winning community group display, with the local RSL being honored as the proud recipient of this year's community award, thanks to the Hughes family decorating their home on behalf of the community group.
