Welcoming our first family

For first home buyers Jacob and Renae, Christmas 2020 has delivered them a pretty sensational gift – the keys to their dream home at Kingsford at Bullsbrook.

The timing couldn’t be more perfect as it means they will be settled in well before they welcome a new baby brother or sister for three-year-old Tayia in February 2021.

It was their growing family that prompted Jacob and Renae to take the plunge and build their first home at Kingsford.

“We saw a video on the Kingsford website and instantly fell in love with the estate,” said Renae.

The growing community spirit around the town centre and amenities in Kingsford was what attracted the couple.

“Both Jacob and I grew up in small country towns, and Kingsford gives us a feeling of nostalgia for those good old days where everyone that lives in the area is family,” said Renae.

“On a practical level it is a really convenient place to live since we don’t have to travel far for work or to see family and friends” said Renae.

Building through Celebration Homes and with the support of the State Government’s First Home Owner Grant, Renae and Jacob were able to create a home tailored to their needs and style.

Their large block allowed the couple to opt for a modern open-plan design including four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a games room and a theatre.

The spacious living area also leads onto an expansive outdoor patio.

“Having a bigger backyard means we have plenty of room for the kids to play, run and explore as they get older,” said Jacob.

“It’s really exciting for Renae and I to be able to give our children the same outdoor experiences we had when we were growing up.”

The couple are looking forward to starting new family Christmas traditions this year.

“We have the luxury of hosting our family, friends and all of their kids,” said Renae.

“It’s incredible to think that this dream has become a reality for us, and we have the comfort and surroundings of our own home, every day of the year.”
